You can do so by check, made payable to the church with “Lent walk” in memo line; or, you can put cash in an envelope marked “Lent walk” then place them in the offering plate. In addition, you can make an online donation: go to our website (www.stjohnslutheranwinchester.org) and click on the green GIVE button and just follow the instructions and input your information . Make sure to select “To”, then scroll down and select “Special – Lent Walk”. All monies will benefit the discretionary fund (its only fundraiser) at St. John’s. Thank you for your support.
Update: Pastor Sonya would like to thank all who donated to her annual Lenten walk – with help from some of you, friends and family, she walked over 300 miles this Lent (and she didn’t count her pups!!) These donations represent our church as we help those in need in our community! Thank you! |
