Lost & Found is our Virginia Synod faith-sharing retreat for 7th and 8th graders and the adult advisors who come with them. The dates this year are Nov. 21-23, 2025 (Friday 8:00pm to Sunday noon) and we meet once again at our traditional location - Eagle Eyrie Conference Center in Lynchburg. Participants attend as part of a congregational group and spend the weekend in Large Group gatherings with lots of singing, comedy, and energy. Each participant is also part of a Small Group with 5 or 6 other youth from other congregations to make new friends and share stories. Then at the end of the evening you gather again with your congregation in your cottage to share reflections on the day and get a great night's sleep! If you do not attend Saint John's, but would like to donate your plastic bags for our cause please see the lists below for what is and isn't acceptable. Thank you! These are the types of plastics/bags that are acceptable: Plastics/Bags: Grocery, bread, produce, dry cleaning, newspaper sleeves, ice, Ziploc baggies, cereal bags, bubble wrap. Plastic wrap from cases of water bottles, pallet wrap and plastic e-commerce mailers are also acceptable. Please note that everything must be clean and dry.
