Our Outreach Project for November 2018 will be to collect new blankets, pillows, sleeping bags, gloves, mittens, and hats (men’s, women’s and children’s) for CCAP. Beginning in November, we will go to a two-week rotation for Altar Guilds and Communion Assistants. Please see or email Doug with any questions or to sign up. Sunday, November 4, 2018 – 11:00 a.m. - Worship (All Saints Sunday) with Holy Communion and Necrology - Dedicate worship items from Fremont Church. Numerous worship items from the former Fremont Lutheran Church were dedicated during Sunday's service. Thank you to those that so generously donated these items to St. John's Sunday, November 4, 2018 – Youth choir to sing "Saints Society" during the worship service. Saturday, November 17, 2018 – 4:00 p.m. – St. John’s Youth Group Meeting - Paint Night Event - our canvases will be wood slices. Youth of all ages are welcome. Saturday, November 17, 2018 – 6:00 p.m. Mocha and a Message - “I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord…” We say it each and every Sunday in the creeds. The Mountain View Christian Academy Christopher Saville (Joshua 1:9) Scholarship Fund Fundraiser will be held at the Greene Turtle Restaurant in Kernstown, next to the Alamo. You can dine in from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. or carry out if you prefer; just; present the flier (you may click on the word "flier" to print a copy to present when you order) and 20 percent will go toward this cause!
