Thanks to an $800 grant from the VA Synod/Lutheran Disaster Relief and a Thrivent action card, St. John's will be offering a Blessing Box feeding ministry! Thank you to Greg Clutter for his craftsmanship and donation of materials, we have a box that we’ll fill with Blessings each week so that folks can stop and take what they need (or can leave items if they desire.) This box will be close to the mailbox and road so it’s clearly visible and easy to stop and get what they need. If you would like to contribute an item or two for this ministry, you can bring your items and put them in the long black tote in the narthex. Please see any council member if you have questions! Thank you!
Items needed for the Blessing Box at this time:
Most needed items are canned meet and fruit cups
We're also low on everything else
