Thank you to Greg Clutter for his craftsmanship and donation of materials, we have a box that we fill with Blessings of food each week so that folks can stop and take what they need (or can leave items if they desire.) This box will be close to the mailbox and road so it’s clearly visible and easy to stop and get what they need. If you would like to contribute an item or two for this ministry, you can bring your items and put them in the long black tote in the narthex. Please see any council member if you have questions! Thank you!
Items needed for the Blessing Box: Canned Meat Boxes of Cereal Oatmeal Snack Crackers 4 Pack Fruit We are now collecting for our third bench! We need 1,000 pounds of plastic film in 12 months. To date, we have collected 234 pounds of plastic. We need 766 pounds of plastic to meet our goal and earn our third bench. These are the types of plastics/bags that are acceptable: Plastics/Bags: Grocery, bread, produce, dry cleaning, newspaper sleeves, ice, Ziploc baggies, cereal bags, bubble wrap. Plastic wrap from cases of water bottles, pallet wrap and plastic e-commerce mailers are also acceptable. Please note that everything must be clean and dry. The following items are not acceptable: Mulch or soil bags, hot dog or meat wrap packaging, frozen food bags, pet food bags or six-pack rings. Thank you! See Courtney or Doug with any questions. We have three (3) collection containers: one in the narthex, one in the Sunday school annex, and one in the social hall. Due to the impending weather forecast for tomorrow morning, we will have online worship ONLY at 10:00 a.m. (note time change to the middle of Gravel Springs' and St. John's worship times).
