Bingo, refreshments, prizes and fun immediately following Mocha and a Message. All are welcome to join us for uplifting music, worship, Word, food and fellowship!
Friday, August 25, 2017 - 7:30 p.m. - Movie night at St. John’s - the featured movie will be Pete's Dragon.
Sunday, August 27, 2017 - 12 p.m. - Acolyte/Crucifer workshop at St. John’s after worship for all acolytes, crucifers and parents. We are having an acolyte & crucifer workshop for all youth and their parents (including existing acolytes & crucifers) immediately following worship. If you are currently an acolyte or crucifer or would like to take on this special responsibility, please plan to attend this workshop!
Help with Worship - The SJ Worship and Music Committee would like to invite members of the congregation to sign up as readers, chanters, and nursery helpers. Each of these rolls will be assigned on a rotating basis. Please autograph the sign-up sheet on the table in the sanctuary or contact Nancy Pitcock with any questions or to participate. The new schedule will begin in September 2017. Thank you in advance, we look forward to your participation.
Assistance with Laundering Robes Utilized during Worship - The SJ Worship and Music Committee is also looking for anyone who may be interested in laundering and ironing the crucifer and acolyte robes. The laundering would be needed about once a month or when stains occur. If you are interested in assisting, please speak with Corinne Whalen or email her at [email protected]. Bingo after Mocha - We are in need of Bingo prizes, smaller door prizes and "kId friendly" children's prizes.
