We are now collecting for our third bench! We need 1,000 pounds of plastic film in 12 months. To date, we have collected 203 pounds of plastic. We need 797 pounds of plastic to meet our goal and earn our third bench.
These are the types of plastics/bags that are acceptable:
Plastics/Bags: Grocery, bread, produce, dry cleaning, newspaper sleeves, ice, Ziploc baggies, cereal bags, bubble wrap. Plastic wrap from cases of water bottles, pallet wrap and plastic e-commerce mailers are also acceptable. Please note that everything must be clean and dry.
The following items are not acceptable: Mulch or soil bags, hot dog or meat wrap packaging, frozen food bags, pet food bags or six-pack rings. Thank you!
