Our new Bible study program will begin on July 21, 2018. It will be held from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (before Mocha and a Message) and will be led by Linda Campbell. All adults are welcome. Bring your Bible and we'll delve into God's word each month. The study will be held every month, on the third Saturday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at St. John’s. "Bibles for Our Troops"
St. John’s is collecting donations to place God's Word in the hands of our soldiers. Five dollars ($5.00) will buy one Bible. For more information click on letter or click on the brochure. If you would like to make a donation, please place it in the box on the table by the CCAP can. Checks may be written to St. John’s with "Bibles for Our Troops" in the memo line.
It is a joy to announce that to date our donations have bought 33 Bibles for our "Bibles for Our Troops” campaign at St. John’s. Feel free to continue making donations, as our campaign is on-going. We’ll collect what’s in the box at the end of each quarter and send the donations to the American Bible Society to buy the Bibles for our troops. Confirmation Studies
Starting in the Fall of 2018, we will have one joint Confirmation class for all Middle School (MS) and High School (HS) youth at Gravel Springs and St. John’s. If you have a rising MS-er or HS-er in the Fall of 2018, please plan for them to attend Confirmation studies with Pastor Sonya. A schedule will be distributed in the summer of 2018. Youth Ministry/Events
Beginning June, 2018, Youth Ministry activities will be held on the third (3rd) Saturday of each month prior to Mocha and a Message. The activities will be designated as a Youth Group community service projects.
